SEI Tallinn participates in a project that aims to analyse, which measures and tools could support designing sustainable and high-quality spaces in Estonia. The result of the project is a toolbox that offers systemic resources for creating sustainable and high-quality space.
The project aims to create a toolbox according to the needs of Estonian spatial planners.
The project sets out to create a toolbox concept according to the needs of Estonian spatial planners. The project plan includes creating the toolbox, including choosing and developing the tools, analysing user needs, assessing the availability of data and creating a prototype and visual concept for the toolbox. The project requires that the toolbox be tested and developed further, the prototype must be advanced, the concept validated, the process documented and the project communicated to the public.
SEI Tallinn is the project lead and offers expert knowledge on sustainable and high-quality space creation. SEI Tallinn leads applied research, tool development and stakeholder engagement for the project.
The project partners are SEI Tallinn (lead partner), Hendrikson & Ko and Liikuvusagentuur (Mobility Agency).
The project partners consult with the project expert group including Amsterdam space planner and award-winning landscape architect Joyce van der Berg, Weimar University urban studies professor Frank Eckhardt and urban studies Researcher Associate Dr Ammalia Podlaszewska.
