San Miguel Headwaters - Valley Floor
Scientific Analysis, Synthesis and Recommendations

In response to increasing pressure on the land, SEI together with a group of Telluride citizens undertook a scientific evaluation of the San Miguel Headwaters-Valley Floor ecosystem in Telluride, Colorado. The approach is non-partisan, scientific, and designed to engage stakeholders in crafting sustainable solutions to land use conflicts. As a first phase, SEI undertook a scientific study to identify ecological values and sensitivities. The results are presented in a report The San Miguel Headwaters-Valley Floor, Telluride Colorado: Scientific Analysis, Synthesis and Recommendations.
