The San Miguel Headwaters-Valley Floor Project will use credible and objective science to:

1. Determine the biological wealth and ecological uniqueness of the valley floor ecosystem.
2. Educate and engage the public in the stewardship and conservation of their local habitats.
3. Inform decision makers at local, state and national level, and to reach out to individuals
    who can affect the conservation of the local habitats.
4. Determine how to conserve the biological integrity of the Valley Floor ecosystem.
